Searchable Disposable Medical Supplies Index

The Disposable Medical Supplies (DMS) Index allows providers to search by date of service. Providers may search the DMS Indices using the following methods:

• Category.Providers may choose a category of supplies from a list. Examples of these categories include diabetic, colostomy, tracheostomy, and dressings.

• Code. Providers may enter the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) Common Procedure Coding System code or Wisconsin Medicaid local code for which they are searching to bring up the DMS information specific to that code.

In addition to these search methods, you may bring up the entire index, in code order, by entering the "%" sign in the "Search for" field under the Search by Code function.
